     I am shooting PD ( DSR / EX3 / XF305) &  former journalist with primetime credits in Factual & Obs Doc, including Dispatches, Tribal Wives,  & Last Man Standing.

    Experienced at working on  Factual / Current Affairs, Obs Docs & format programs. Equally confident Directing crew (single & Multi-camera) as well as self shooting. I also have experience of leading a team of DV Directors & Researchers on location (including hostile, remote locations), working with Presenters and Celebs, and taking programs through edit (30 and 60 min programs).

    • As a former journalist & photographer, I hold freelance Journalist I-Visa and am Hostile Environment trained.

    • My experience includes working on strong human interest programs including those which have covered issues of a sensitive nature, and I believe that my approachable manner has often been instrumental in persuading contributors to take part. These include items on topics such as childbirth, trauma, Tsunami, children & teenagers with learning difficulties such as ADHD , drug addiction, alcoholism, domestic violence, Child Obesity etc. 

    • I have experience of a variety of TV genres - including Obervational Documentaries, Current Affairs, Health, Youth, Education, Arts, Engineering and Property.

    • Knowledge of Iraq and Middle East, having spent 10 months working on news feature stories, based in Baghdad.

    • My experience of foreign filming includes filming with indigenous tribal communities in very remote locations (Last Man Standing x4 ; Tribal Wives, Cats from the Clouds & Tsunami Children).
