About Simon

  • Share profile:
I come from a Fine Arts background and have been working creatively with video and time-based media for over 15 years. A strong eye for design coupled with a detailed understanding of underlying technical processes allows me to work accurately and calmly within pressurised commercial environments. My approach to design is flexible in order to bring a client's idea to life and covers a variety of graphic styles and production disciplines. I can visualise and create a concept from scratch or take style cues from existing material and deliver an integrated product. My main proficiency is creating graphic content with After Effects. I also handle compositing for live action; 3D animated elements using Lightwave; cartoon style animation using Flash; branding and corporate design. My work is used for broadcast, DVD and interactive formats.
