Graphic Designer & Edit Assistant
Arena Digital / The TV Set, London W1
Initially employed as a runner, I quickly progressed to edit assistant in this dynamic post-production house. I gained a good practical knowledge of online and offline editing, dubbing and standards conversion. I also experienced the variety of clients and projects that exist in Soho, working mainly on television and commercials projects. After eighteen months I joined the graphics department where I was one of two full-time graphic designers. I honed my Photoshop and Paintbox skills and also used Softimage for 3D projects, and After Effects and Harry for compositing. After two and a half years I left on good terms in order spend some time travelling and pursuing freelance projects.
