About Shannon

  • Share profile:
I am an offline editor originally from the United States. I started out by editing for my college and summer camps. Wanting to pursue editing as a career I enrolled in the Colorado Film School. Later went on to do freelance, along with also working with two TV Production/ Post Production Houses in Denver, Colorado. After five years of freelance work and trying to break into the industry in LA, I decided to moved over to the UK and look to a different industry in film and television. There I went on to study at the Met Film School in Visual Effects and Animation.

As a child and young adult I gained knowledge in music, acting and directing, But also gained knowledge in computer sciences and web design. The combination of all these skills have made me the editor I am today. Giving me a keen eye to pacing with either music or an acting performance.

Over the years I have had experience with all forms of editing such as Feature Length films and documentaries, short films, commercials, music videos, web shows, and trailers. On top of having editorial experience I also has skills and knowledge in multiple facets of post production. From DVD Authoring, to Web Design and recently Visual Effects and 3D Animation, along with several software packages. Those include Final Cut Pro, Avid, Adobe Premier, After Effects, PhotoShop, DVD Studio Pro, Maya, Nuke, Boujou.
I strive to continue to add skills to my post production knowledge to keep up with an industry that is constantly changing.
