Global Campaign For Education - 1 Goal , United Kingdom
2011 - Editor
Today, 67 million children in the world are denied the chance to go to school. These children could be our next generation's leaders, sports stars, doctors and teachers. But they face a lifelong struggle against poverty.

It doesn't have to be this way. Since 2000, 40 million more children are in school. Education beats poverty - and gives people the tools to help themselves.

1GOAL is a campaign seizing the power of football to get all children into school and learning. Raising our voices all over the world we believe that, together, we can make education a reality for the millions of boys and girls who remain out of school.

"This is our chance to show not just out-of-school children, but our own children, that when we make a promise, we keep it. With your help, we could have billions of fans cheering not just for their teams, but for one team: 1GOAL. This is our moment to shine; we can bring millions of children in from the shadows of ignorance, and light up their lives with the legacy of education." ~ Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Co-Founder and Global Co-Chair, 1GOAL

You can help make education for all a reality.

1GOAL brings together footballers, fans, charities, corporations and individuals to lobby and achieve our ambitious aim of education for everyone. By joining the 1GOAL team, you can strengthen the campaign's voice and give us the best possible chance of success.

Employment History

I gained my experience as a professional editor by assisting a senior editor on feature films for two years. I was her 'hands' since she couldn't adjust to the digital system. Meanwhile I had opportunities to work on a wide range of projects from low budget independent films to high-end commercials, fiction films, documentaries, Live TV, reality shows, studio programs and news.

In May 2009 I started working with BAFTA nominated producer/director David Cohen on an 82 hours experimental documentary, "The Bible in Vision". After that we made another 50 minutes documentary, "When Two Women Met Again". Meanwhile I also worked with director Eitan Lee on a green activist documentary about the recycling industry in India.

In 2010 I was an assembly editor and consultant on two independent feature films. In 2011 I met editor Jon Gregory (Naked, Donnie Brasco, Four Weddings and a funeral) and was his a ssitant on a short fiction In 2012 I moved on to edit  a TV pilot for a new drama series, a short film about water and currently I've finished editing my seond short film this year and a documentry.
