About Ross

  • Share profile:
* 12 years as a Producer/Director (documentaires, factual entertainment, specialist factual and ob docs)
* Accomplished director (single and mutli-camera)
* Excellent self-shooter (including HD cameras)
* Flagship credits
* Filming experience worldwide
* Excellent scriptwriter
* Creative and organised in the edit

I'm an inventive and creative producer/director with more than a decade's experience of delivering primetime factual and factual entertainment programmes for major broadcasters as well as a growing list of corporate credits.

I'm both a skilled and versatile director and an accomplished camera operator in my own right (including HD cameras). Whatever I'm making and however I'm making it, I always turn in striking images and imaginatively crafted sequences backed up by solid journalism and strong scriptwriting.

On location, I'm equally happy thrashing out pieces to camera with talent, working through drama sequences with crew and cast or putting nervous contributors at ease while operating as a one-man band. Calm under pressure in the edit, I'm adept at marrying succinct VO to great music to create strong narrative.

As well as creativity, I bring enthusiasm, organisation, excellent leadership skills and good budget managment to every project I'm involved with. I can also offer vast experience of filming overseas and fluency in French and Italian.
