I was filming ENG and Interviews of prep sporting events (Swimming & Cycling) for the 2012 Olympic games, which will be made into two 5 minute segments for an Austrailian Network production charting the lead up to the next games. Specifically, we filmed key sports personnel and delegates such as British Cyclist Mark Cavendish and Sir Clive Woodward, as well as offering a flavour of what London has to offer to the 2012 games.

Filming the British Supercross Champs 2011 at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, the first of three rounds of the prestigious event attracting some of the top riders in the sport.

The programme will be broadcast on the Extreme Sports channel in january 2011, with the Semi Final being staged at the O2 on February 5th 2011, and the Final and Liverpool Echo on February 19th 2011.

I was responsible for ENG filming, shooting riders interviews, and race coverage on the roaming camera.

My involvement enabled myself to establish an understanding of the day-today running of a film set, as my role provided an overall perspective to the management and decision making process of film making logistics, especially as there was an opportunity to work with a well established 1st AD.


My duties included:
• Producing Daily Call sheets with the office-based Production Coordinator.
• Ensuring the cast was attended to, and on time and in the correct locations for scenes.
• Liaising between set and office, ensuring clear messages were passed on and providing often creative solutions to challenging logistical instances.
• Coordinating the depts - Marketing/Transport/Make-up/Hair/Costume/Crew/Office. As point of contact, I ensured depts had information re: their set-up locations, cast, movements, crew, timings and daily scenes.

Filmed as a promo for the then reigning GP2 Champions. With interviews by Bruno Senna, Ross Brawn, Steve Ryder, and Timo Glock. My role within this production was to film the cars on the test circuit at Paul Ricard in France, direct the opening sequences with the drivers, and then edit those together for the final production which was distributed to international sponsors.

The videos were used as part of the 'Wap' mobile competitions and played on the stadium screen during the event, as well as used on the ROC website. The videos comprised of Driver interviews with Michael Schumacher, Jenson Button, Sebestian Vettel etc..., the press conference, race footage, and behind the scenes at the event.

My Corporate work includes projects for i-Sport International, with footage broadcast on C5 (Fifth Gear), and additional projects involving UCB, BBC News, OUP, mm3 / Race of Champions, the Guardian Online and the NHS.

My role covers

• Devising conceptual work with the client and negotiating contracts and budgets 
• Customer / Client Relations 
• Guiding clients through the production process to the deadline. 
• Addressing production legalities and conforming to broadcast regulations and specifications. 
• Script, Casting, production development, Researching, Logistics, Shooting (Schedules), Crewing, Equipment, & Delivery.

In addition to running the company, I also lectured A-Level, 1st Diploma, Special Needs, and BTEC Media Units. Working at the College enabled the development of my people management skills, as well as provide a steady base to build my company. In addition, I benefitted greatly from working with colleagues on a full time basis, rather than just on short term contracts, and the reason I departed this year was due to my ambition to progress in Industry.

My duties included;
• Creation, selection and adaptation of related Media Courses and specifications.
• Student management and coordination.
• Providing students with the opportunity to work in the media industry.

2nd Asst Dir - Feature Film - The Husband Obedience Trials - June / July 2009 - Immense Productions - Full Range Films

This Rom-com, due for release in Summer 2011, was produced by Immense Productions and Full Range Films in Birmingham. My involvement enabled myself to establish an understanding of the day-today running of a film set, as my role provided an overall perspective to the management and decision making process of film making logistics, especially as there was an opportunity to work with a well established 1st AD.

My duties included;
• Producing Daily Call sheets with the office-based Production Coordinator.
• Ensuring the cast was attended to, and on time and in the correct locations for scenes.
• Liaising between set and office, ensuring clear messages were passed on and providing often creative solutions to challenging logistical instances.
• Coordinating the depts - Marketing; Transport; Make -up; Hair; Costume; Production Office. As point of contact, I ensured depts had information re: their set-up locations, cast, movements, crew, timings and daily scenes.
