The Moonpig ads have been voted as some of the worst and best ads on tv. Everybody remembers the tune. Those that chastise them fail to recognise they are a pastiche of commercial making.

There is even a cult following on youtube. The most important thing about them is they have been highly successful in promoting a little known company into a household name.

Six commercials shot over 2 days on super 16mm. quite a complicated shoot requiring green screen and a series of plates. Animated by Polymime. Dop Alex Metcalfe.

Involved from the pitch right through to the delivery this was a 30 and 60sec commercial for the travel company and was the first time they advertised on television. Shot in HD using the Pro35 adapter and 35mm prime lenses to give the shallow film style. A nice little drama between the female and male character. The woman knows best!

Winter Olympics Vancouver 2010 - Can Communicate , Canada
2010 - Director/Cameraperson
Directed and shot the Camera of record for the International Olympic Committee. From this the IOC make a series of films on how the olympics is organised. I also had this role at the winter olympics in Torino in 2006.
I also shot a film on the olympics in 3D using the worlds smallest portable 3D rig. All of these projects are currently in post production.
