Colin Laidlaw is a highly resourceful individual whom holds great passion and responsibility in all that he does.

He has acted as a produce/director (self shooting) in India as well as the UK; as a digital cinematographer he has great vision and tenacity; as an editor he really considers the emotion being conveyed; and as a producer/director he is highly organised and focused on what the productions' objectives are.

Skills include:

Camera: Operating the Canon 5Dmkii, Sony EX3 with Letus adaptor and Sony Z1. Lighting for drama and corporate productions . DOP as well as camera operator on music videos, short form documentary and drama productions.

Editor: Own a suite South London and specialise in Final Cut pro and Color film grading; motion and DVD studio pro.

Scriptwriter: Written and produced several short films, taught scriptwriting at Birbeck College and is currently writing his fourth feature length screenplay to be produced in India.

Producer/Director: As a self shooting producer/director he has great confidence and sensitivity to the material. He constanly looks at what the final output of the project is and will adapt and change very quickly to the circumstances as required. This makes him highly flexible and able to gain access to any subject.

Further to this, colin Laidlaw runs a not for profit production company (www.media4charity.org) which specialises in films for charities.
