I am a Production Assistant and Runner, with experience in film, video and social media.

At University I gained a 2:1 in Contemporary media practice. The degree focused on both the theoretical and practical aspects of film, video, photography and interactive media.  Due to being trained in multiple disciplines I have become a bit of a jack of all trade. It has also given me a strong foundation of knowledge which I can apply effectively to many job roles.

Since leaving university, I have have enjoyed diverse work experience. Most recently working as Puppet Runner, Production Assistant and Buyer for Disney, on their latest feature length animation by Tim Burton. Providing administrative support, stock co-ordination and research and hospitality assistance. In addition to the job being creatively rewarding, I felt I excelled in the high paced environment and developed extremely good organisation skills.

Previously, I worked in online viral advertising and marketing. I have worked as a production assistant and researcher creating online comedy videos, for a leading social networking site. I often doubling up as camera or audio assistant as well. Also worked in events management and as a continuity supervisor.

I highly value the qualities and skills I have gained.  No matter the size of project, company or work, I enjoy getting stuck in. I welcome any opportunity to broaden my knowledge and experience but wish to find a permanent position I can get excited about.
