***NEW SHOWREEL ONLINE IN SHOWFOLIO***
Mark Ryes is an experienced presenter and voice-over artist. Mark's currently presenting for leading retail channels
Bid TV & Price Drop TV. He's the voice of Associated Press's weekly showbiz programme "Entertainment Now!", and he's still doing TV continuity too, as the only male announcer at
Challenge for BSkyB, and also
BFBS TV. Over the last few years he's also been a presenter for
Thomas Cook TV, half hour interview shows online for studiotalk.tv and he was also one of the launch presenters for
Radio Music Shop from Somethin' Else.
Mark's also dabbled in quiz shows too presenting
Play DJ on
ITV Play, and fun roulette games for
Avago. This is an area he'd like to concentrate on more... and having worked for both Challenge and Bid TV for some years now, his knowledge of gameshows and his thousands of hours of live TV experience should stand him in good stead!
In 2000 and 2001 Mark presented for
TV Jobshop. He hosted careers based programmes as well as reporting on media and business issues. Mark was also
Director of Programmes for the channel, with responsibilities including managing the production team, controlling presentation house-style, budgets and editorial policy.

AA Roadwatch, reporter for
BBC Radio Four and presenter of a nightly current affairs programme for London News Radio. He's also been a phone-in host for
London's LBC radio. Mark worked for four years as Senior Presenter for
BFBS Forces Television, the pan-global entertainment service for British Troops, and has undertaken voice-over and commercial work for many companies including
Wickes, Donnington Park, RTL, JMC Airlines, Phillips, Bristol College, Mortgage Direct, Segaworld, Southern Electric, Southern Water, Auto Trader, Exchange & Mart, TV Shop, Eurosport and many more companies for commercials and IVR telephony. Mark can record voice over from his home studio, and also has easy access to an
ISDN studio.
Mark is a Property Investor, and would be interested in using his knowledge in this area on house & home style programmes. Mark would like to develop more work in programme narration, TV commercials, on-hold telephone IVR, gaming and web page audio.
