About Lauren

  • Share profile:

I am enthusiastic and hard working with experience working in a variety of environments, from development offices to live studios. I have worked on productions for the BBC and Channel 4, including drama--documentaries and presenter-led factual programming. I also have experience in live studio filming, having worked as a freelance floor manager for ITN.

My research areas include current affairs and human interest stories.  I am passionate about all areas of history, having read Ancient and Modern History at Oxford University and my knowledge of history also includes art, architecture and archaeology.

I am calm under pressure and work well within a team as welll as independently. I am an excellent communicator and .I am able to turn academic research into accessible and interesting television and form good relationships with studio guests, talent and contributors when on location and have set up shoots in UK and USA.

N.B I have a full and clean driving licence.
