About Keira

  • Share profile:
I am a creative Final Cut Pro editor and self-shooting Producer/Director. I have had a variety of experience including documentary, corporate video,  music video and club visuals.

A fast editor, I'm used to working to tight deadlines with passion and enthusiasm. As well as FCP I also have experience with Avid systems, Photoshop, After Effects and Motion. I have my own distinctive editing style but I am always looking for ways to improve and enjoy adjusting my approach to fit a certain market or brief.
Adept at handling two camera shoots I am a confident and stylish camera operator. I am mainly experienced with SONY Z1/Z5/Z7 cameras but also proficient with Canon XF305, EX3, PD170, Canon 550/5D/7D and Super8.

I have excellent people skills and am able to handle sensitive contributors with tact and professionalism. I enjoy being part of a hard working team but also have the independence and drive to work alone on a project to high standards.

I am an enthusiastic film workshop facilitator and am keenly developing my teaching skills. I feel passionate about the potential of film to empower young people and give them a voice.
