    OVERVIEW: BAFTA, RTS, Broadcast Award winning; Emmy and Wildscreen nominated Producer-Director, delivering factual documentaries to most major broadcasters including National Geographic, Discovery, Animal Planet, BBC, FIVE and Channel 4. In 2010 I was also awarded the 'Thompson Reuters Award for Communicating Zoology' by the Zoological Society of London, ZSL, for C4's 'Inside Nature's Giants.'

    3D PRODUCTIONS: Last 2 years specialising in 3D, I have delivered 10-hours of 3D films to 3net, Sky 3D, Smithsonian and Animal Planet. I have hands-on experience as Steriographer, a good knowledge of the latest 3D techniques, equipment, scheduling and budgeting, and a strong grasp of taped and tapeless production and post.

    BACKGROUND: Specialising in wildlife, history, science and technology, I have delivered nearly 300 documentaries; Directed multi-camera studio shoots, high-octane stunts, CGI and drama-reconstruction; Blue-chip specials, long form series and magazine shows; And I have worked with presenters including Bill Bailey, Griff Rhys Jones, Richard Dawkins, Charlotte Uhlenbroek, Laurence Llewellyn Bowen and Neil Oliver.

    I managed a large team on remote shoots (China, Oman, Turkey, Canada, Unite Arab Emirates, US, UK) including foreign language interviews with contributors. Working with Red Vision I directed 20 innovative photo-real CGI sequences. Series was shot on Varicam using Jib, Hovercam, Tyler & Wescam helicopter mounts and Wire-rigs.

    Hell-raising expedition series as Ruud Kleinpaste searched for the planets most extraordinary and deadly bugs. Story-telling outside the box: dragonfly flight became Ruud doing helicopter aerobatics; Arctic bugs became racing huskies in Alaska; Abseiling, Scuba Diving, Rock Climbing were no problem. I received two Emmy nominations (Sound & Cinematography) and won Silver Medal for Nature and Wildlife at the Television Programming and Promotion Awards 2006 for "Madagascar".
