About Jamie

  • Share profile:
I'm a creative cameraman with almost 10 years shooting experience, as comfortable shooting HD green-screen footage with a studio crew as I am operating as a one-man band in Kenya and Afghanistan.

I work across live-action and animation, shooting factual films, shorts, corporates and promos.

Comfortable with cameras across the board, both large and small. Extensive experience shooting with Sony EX1 and EX3 cameras.

I'm also a pretty good offline Final Cut Pro editor (and could get to grips with Adobe Premier at a moment's notice!)

A selection of broadcasters and agencies I've worked for are listed below. For a fuller list of credits and work done click here.

I'm based in Clerkenwell, Central London, EC1. Just a short walk away from the hubs of Old Street, Angel, Shoreditch and Hoxton.

Alongside the shooting work I'm active as a facilitator on London's indie film scene. I'm the founder-director of Kino London, the open-access filmmakers network and screening organisation.

I tutor too. I've taught shooting skils at Talkback Thames Television and to independent producers and camerapeople. I've led filmmaking workshops with young people for National Youth Film Academy, the BBC and the UK Film Council, as well as at a number of film festivals, and have taught filmmaking in Kabul, Afghanistan (you can read a little about that experience here).
