I'm an SP/ Producer/Director and Senior Edit Producer with over 24 years experience in television-mostly within factual entertainment and Obs-doc style programming-both format and non formatted across all the major broadcasters.

Originally trained as a Broadcast Journalist (NCTJ), I have solid research skills and the ability to work effectiviely and creatively to tight deadlines as well as dig out and drive storylines forward, and the means to establish good contacts and create a positive relationship with contributors and presenters (both new and established) from all walks of life.

I have directed for both peak and daytime -hours and half hours; multi-camera shoots- both here and internationally and enjoy travelling extensively with work. I have a passion for filming abroad. I can also happily lead a team-whether its 30 strong out on location or one or two inexperienced members within the office,

As an EP- I have a vast wealth of experience -the edit suite is where I feel most art home. I enjoy sifting through rushes to pull out storylines and cahracters that will entice viewers. I'm accustomed to working to extremely tight turnarounds and don't faulter under pressure. I enjoy using music and tone to set the style for new series and also to bring life to tired formats.

As an SP, I can be counted on to work with a strong sense of initiative and creativity without suffering a humour bypass in the process and am effective at creating lasting releationships with Execs and comissioners-who have often invited me back time and time again.
