- Writing scripts, auditioning talent (kids 4-7), overseeing storyboard development, devising mood boards/costume, directing green screen shoot, editing spots in Final Cut Pro, directing After Effects animator, voiceover artist and final audio mix

House Festival 2011 promo - MusioMusic TV , United Kingdom

For the second year running I was asked by Musio Music Tv to film at the 2011 House Festival in the grand surroundings of Chiswick House.

I filmed and lit all of the artist interviews, cutaways and time-lapse shots using a Panasonic AG-AF101 shallow depth of field HD camera.

In Spring 2011 I took an idea to Bauer Media, publishers of consumer magazine titles like Practical Classics, Classic Cars, etc.

To help promote the idea internally, I filmed with the Practical Classics team, filming, directing and editing 10 short online films for Youtube.

The idea may not have taken off but the videos have amassed over 20,000 views (and counting) and I learned a lot about marketing YouTube videos.

Vision Charity appeal films - Hamish Scadding , United Kingdom

Produced a 90 second promo film and nine 40 second appeal films, in 5 days.

Working with existing clips, each film was cut in the style of a Children in Need appeal.

The majority were cut on Avid at MPC, but I edited two of the films on FCP, using Apple Motion graphics and light effects.

Solo Support Services online promo film - Hamish Scadding , United Kingdom

Produced a 4 minute online promotional film for Nottingham company Solo Support Services, outlining the benefits of managing NHS personal health budgets.

I filmed on DVCAM, lit interviews, edited in Final Cut Pro, produced the logo animation in After Effects and color corrected in Apple Color.

Hasbro Speed Stars - Turner Media Innovations , United Kingdom

Produced/Directed two TVC's for Hasbro to promote their new Star Wars Speed Stars range of toys.

Each spot was made using still images taken with a Canon DSLR and animated/composited in After Effects.

I also produced an accompanying branded microsite to sit on Cartoonetwork.co.uk where kids could enter a competition.

Made four short 1 minute films for aferry.co.uk showing customers the services offered on specific cross-channel ferry routes.

I filmed each of the routes, edited each film with Final Cut, produced bespoke branding animation/graphics in Apple Motion and After Effects and colour correction and grading in Apple Color.
