Ent/Obs Doc programming-I have worked on numerous highly acclaimed series across all main channels - BBC 1 & 3, C4, C5, ITV 1 & 2 and Discovery.     Embarrassing Bodies - live From The Clinic - Maverick TV , United Kingdom
    2014 - Series Editor
    Live, prime time, presenter led health show tackling the nation's health concerns.
    Series Editor on fast turnaround weekly live show. My responsibilities included overseeing a large team which consisted of live producer, VT series producer, live series director, casting / production team and VT team (Stunt VT's). Working with them on ideas, scripts, locations, shoots, overseeing VT content & edits. I was the live producer on the night in the gallery working with the director and responsible for all of the live filming on set studio with the experts/ presenters. I created and introduced most of the new content for the series which included the development of a new strand called 'My Mind Checker' which tackled the nation's mental health and won the award for best entertainment series at the Mind Awards 2014 for portraying mental health in a positive light.

    Prime time, makeover series - Exec Producer for all 12 episodes within the series.

    My responsibilities included all content within the series editorially /visually and overseeing a team which consists of series producer, series director and casting / production team.     Channel 4's top aspiration series about saving money in this current climate. The SuperScrimpers come in may guises from the pensioner who dyes her underwear, to handy men who teach us the trick of the trade to saving those costly bills. We get first hand tips from the men and women who have turned saving money into an art form. Mrs M takes to the streets in order to save you cash on everything from your utility bills to your mobile phone. No element of scrimping is left unturned.     Gok's Teens: The Naked Truth - C 4 (Series 3 x 1 hour)
    Feb 11 - July 11 - Series Producer.
    Spin off series from 'How to Look Good Naked' - Gok's Teens: The Naked Truth, See's Gok getting teenagers the help and support they need to deal with personal issues through building their body confidence.
    This documentary/ features series follows Gok as he travels the length and breathe of the UK meeting teenagers from all walks of life. Also in the series Gok calls on his celebrity friends to share their teenage secrets and he reignites his commitment to getting body confidence taught on the curriculum, he petitions with his teenage army in the houses of parliament.

    Animal Madhouse - C4 (Series 6 x 1 hour)
    March 10 - Nov 10 - Series Producer
    Channels 4's Animal programme 'Animal Madhouse' where we explore the weird and wonderful conditions and ailments that affect all creatures big and small. I along with the exec producer created the series from scratch. We found the talent, the location, designed the set and set the style. As well as produced the stories/ narrative across the series, we developed new strand ideas to include 2 campaigns one on Neutering and a Fat Camp, plus consumer features and factually driven pieces.

    How to Look Good Naked - C4 (Series 6 x 1 hour)
    Oct 09 - March 10 - Series Producer
    Channel 4's Top Fashion/ Make Over programme, For the first time on this inspirational fashion series we work with a Man, so Gok now shows men and women how to look fantastic with their clothes on or off no matter what their body shape and size. And working with what we learnt on the 'With a difference....' Series, we also take disability forward into this new series which will transmit this autumn. Working with a man and women with spinal / back problems and a young lady who had breast cancer and reconstruction. I series produced the series of 6.

    How to Look Good Naked - ' With a difference..........' - C4 (3 x 1 hour)
    Oct 09 - March 10 - Series Producer
    'With a difference...' pushes the inspirational fashion series one step further and covers women with disability. Gok worked his magic on 3 women - one wheel chair user, one amputee and a blind lady. It also included disable Naked Britain and Gok goes on the road with a fashion workshop. I series producer the 3 disability programmes.

    How to Look Good Naked - C4 (2 x 1 hour)
    May 09 - August 09 - Producer / Director
    Channel 4's Top Fashion/ Make Over programme, working with presenter/ re-owned stylist Gok Wan. This inspirational fashion series shows women how to look fantastic with their clothes on or off no matter what their body shape. I was the PD on the first two programmes of the new series.

    Ten Years Younger 'The Challenge'- C4 (4 x 1 hour)
    Sept 08 - June 09 - Producer / Director
    Channel 4's controversial Fashion and Makeover programme, a new format and a new presenter Myleene Klass and her team of time lords work their age-defying magic on two contributors. One goes under the knife while the other takes the non-surgery route to looking good. I was the PD on the first two programmes of the new series.

    Extraordinary People - C5 - 'The Women with Giant Legs' (1 x 1 hour)
    April - July 2008 - Producer
    Documentary portraying the life of Mandy Sellars, she is believed to have Proteus Syndrome; the same condition has Joseph Merrick the Elephant Man. Mandy's has the condition in her legs and they weigh 15 stone they are still growing. She faces a life threatening decision about amputation and travels to the USA in search of answers.

    Street Doctor - (Series 3) - For BBC 1 (1 x 30 min)
    Feb - April 2008 Producer / Director
    Street Doctors is a fast-paced and stylish new health programme that takes the pain and anxiety out of visiting the GP. Four GPs take to the streets of a different cities in Britain, my film covered Dover and The Kent Coast. Between them, they hold an urban open surgery, as they offer their skills and expertise to anyone they meet. The GPs offer counselling, support and diagnosis. We also covered two more extreme cases - and followed through the serious and dramatic stories to their conclusion.

    Ten Years Younger - C4 (1 x 1 hour)

    Channel 4's controversial Fashion and Makeover programme. Where women go under the knife to look - Ten Years Younger. A formatted show with also includes dentistry makeovers / fashion packages for spring / summer and hair and make tips.

    Extraordinary People - C5 - 'The girls that grow too much skin' (1 x 1 hour)
    August - December 2007 - Producer / Director
    Documentary portraying the lives of four children, two sets of sisters, that all suffer from the incurable skin disorder that means the body produces too much skin. The gene that triggers this extraordinary condition has been discovered along with that revelation came another hidden secret the two families were related back in history. We follow the genetic and genealogical quest in the search for their common ancestor.

    Street Doctor - (Series 2) - For BBC 1 (1 x 30 min)

    Living on the Edge - (Working Title) Pilot for MTV UK. (1 x 30 Min)
    Following the highly successful Laguna Beach on MTV in the USA.
    Feb - April 2007. Producer.
    'Living on the Edge' is the British version and it follows a group of 8 - 10 friends in a glossy observational documentary shot like a drama, crossing the two genres. Set in Alderley Edge, where everyone knows everyone - the characters are best friends or enemies, exes or crushes, rivals or idols. As in L B, the show's musical soundtrack emphasises the drama, highlighting emotions and punctuating key moments.

    Sex Talk with Mum and Dad (working title) - Shine North - BBC 3.
    Nov - 2006 - Jan 2007. Producer / Director / Camera.
    A new series for BBC3 looks at the sex lives and the emotional relationships of teenagers. Through actuality filming and a studio based counselling session, the series helps families face up to the realities of their children's sex lives and the impact it's having on the family unit.

    Honey We're Killing the Kids - BBC 3. 1 x 1 hour
    May - August 2006 - Producer / Director / Camera
    Honey We're Killing the Kids is a programme where parents have a unique
    opportunity to look into their child's future. Child psychology expert
    Kris Murrin, shows them what their child will look like at 40 and helps
    them changed their lives for the better. She tackles the family's
    disastrous habits and it's a complete overhaul. With her team of experts from the Institute of Child Health. I revisited two families a year after the first show, to see how they got on.

    My Skin Could Kill Me - Real Life / Real Families Series - ITV 1 (1 x 1 hour)
    Jan - July 2005 - Producer / Director.
    Observational documentary portraying the lives of four children, two
    sets of sisters, that all suffer from the incurable condition Harlequin
    Iytheosis a very rare skin disorder that means the body produces to
    much skin. There are only 8 children surviving with the condition in
    the UK. The film follows six months of their lives.

    Mini Models - Discovery Health - 15 x 30 min part series.
    June - Dec 2004 - Series Producer.
    Observational documentary series follows the lives of child models /
    actors. Working with 4 different agency's across the North West.

    BADGIRLS - Coronation Street Special - ITV2.
    1 x 1 hour - May - June 2004 - Producer / Director.
    Interview and archive driven one hour documentary. The film focuses on
    the wickedest women ever that rocked the cobbles and recently there are
    quite a few from soap bitch of the year Tracy Barlow to the monster of
    all matriarchs Cilla, but this is no one horse race with Mad Maya
    shaping up to be the maddest mare on the street, who knows when the
    bunnies will start to boil.

    HUNKS - Coronation Street Secrets - ITV2.
    1 x 1 hour - Jan - Mar 2004 - Producer / Director.
    Interview and archive driven one hour documentary on the hunks that
    have walked the Weatherfield cobbles, they have walked the walk, but
    can they talk the talk. This film takes a look at the northern totty of
    yester - year, starting with the original super star soap hunk - Brian
    Tilsley - to the modern day romeo's and boy band legend Keith Duffy as Kiaran.

    That's Esther (Series 5) - ITV 1. 2 x 1 hours
    Jan - June 2003 - Producer / Director.
    ITV's leading social affairs programme, presented by
    Esther Rantzen. (13 x 30) I made 4 films for the series. The films will
    feature people who've overcome adversity, disability or prejudice -
    remarkable people doing remarkable things against the odds.

    Animal Cops (Series 1) - Animal Planet USA.
    Aug -Oct 2002 - Camera / Director in Detroit, USA.
    Observational documentary series follows the Michigan Humane Society in Detroit City on case of animal cruelty.

    examining the phenomenon of the latest craze 'Surgery and Safari'

    Prime time one off 30 minute documentary examining the phenomenon of models wanting to become singers. The film featured Sam Fox.

    Prime time one off observational documentary for the Bloody Balkans Week on C4. The film follows two families of different ranks living within the Army environment. During the Kosovo crisis, filming both in England and Kosovo, a potential war situation. A film i developed and generated for C4.

    Jan - Mar 1999. Producer.
    Prime time one-hour observational documentary about families at war, we followed five individual stories, which ranged from arguments about cars to rows about weight.
