Following on from their acclaimed 'Coppers' series, Blast films, gained access to the police, ambulance and fire services for this ambitious new series. Filming was on location in Blackpool I filmed, produced and directed character driven storylines.

Shooting Producer/Director - 15 Kids and Counting
3 x 60 min ob docs for C4 9pm slot made by Lion TV. A brand new 3 part series exploring the lives of some of the UK's biggest families. By building relationships with the families over a 4 month period I produced and directed stories across all 3 episodes and cut the first episode of the series due to air in January 2012.

Shooting Director - Transplant
60 min ob doc for BBC 1 primetime, made by Lion TV. Nominated for an RTS award, Transplant, was a one off documentary that followed for the first time ever on UK television a multiple organ donation from donor to recipients, filming surgeries and human stories on both sides. Working solely with the producer I filmed and directed the majority of this sensitive access based observational documentary.

90 min doc for BBC 1 9pm slot made by North One TV. Presented by Nick Robinson, this 2 hour documentary brings o life the reality of the austerity measures facing Britain. In a unique experiment, Nick Robinson, observes how one street copes with such measures and asks whether a Big Society can work.

4 x 40 min for BBC 1 primetime made by Raw Television. An access based ob doc following some of Britain's Housing Officers and their tenants. I worked as a DV Director filming on Sony Z7 on location in Manchester; juggling access, contributors and story lines over a nine month period.

20 x 45min fly on the wall ob docs for BBC 1 Daytime in which I spent 7 weeks on location filming various doctors and nurses during their shifts at the Royal London Hospial in Whitechapel. All filmed on Z1.

14 x 30 min live studio panel show for ITV 1-a daytime spin off show reacting to and giving exclusive insights into what was happening with the celebrities in the jungle. Duties included coming up with fresh ideas, studio floor managing, also general researching and booking celebrity guests and experts for the daily 5.30 show.

Assistant Producer - World Cup Heaven and Hell
1 x 60 min archive clip show for ITV 1. I was an AP on 10 Goals that Shook the World Cup, a one hour documentary looking at the amazing stories behind some of the greatest goals in world cup history. Duties included sourcing stories, archive & contributors. Duties also included interviewing talking heads in a studio environment. I worked closely with a PD and a Researcher to turn this one hour documentary around in a short period.

3 x 60 min Ob Docs for Channel 5, following 3 state school children and 3 independent school children swapping classrooms. I was involved on a 2 week location shoot where duties included actuality filming on DSR 570 & Z1 following the children's day to day lives in a new school environment.

Researcher - Dancing on Ice: Defrosted
8 x 60/30 min live Saturday night shows for ITV 2. Dancing on Ice: Defrosted, was the ITV 2 sister show which followed 10 celebrities putting their Ice Dancing skills to the test live every Saturday night on prime time ITV 1. Duties included developing VT and Live show ideas, finding celebrity and quirky guests, liaising with guests and producers during the live shows and filming Vox Pops, Funny VTs and various others on DSR 570.

Assistant Producer - Tenants from Hell 3
1 x 60 min ob doc for ITV 1. Duties included sourcing and fact checking relevant stories. The programme required detailed case compiling and fact checking and through this I dealt with not only contributors but also the Met police and Court press officers. Both newspaper and film archive searches were also essential. I was also heavily involved in putting stories together and interviewing contributors on camera. I also filmed actuality scenes on DSR 570.

1 x 60 min clips and interview formatted documentary for ITV 1. Duties included sourcing stories, clips, celebrity contributors and locations. I was also required to do some actuality and interview filming shoots.

Researcher - Trust Me I'm A Holiday Rep
10 x 60 min formatted ob docs for Channel 5. I was heavily involved from the beginning in all pre-production, including designing a Timetable of events to cover all 10 programmes. I was also involved in sourcing contributors and locations in Cyprus. I also shot actuality and I/Vs on PD150 throughout the reconnaissance and Location shoots. I returned to Cyprus during the edit to set up and film a links shoot with 2 presenters. During post production I was also in charge of music clearance and liaising with directors and editors on all post production issues.

DV Operator - Transformed
3 x 90 minute ob docs for ITV 1. I was originally employed as work experience and then logger but quickly got promoted to a DV Operator also including research duties. During this period I obtained very significant experience in self-shooting and self-directing on PD170 and also some on DSR 570. I also gained valuable experience as a research assistant in locating and interviewing contributors. The programme included a five week location shoot on the Scottish Borders. I was heavily involved in filming actuality and interviews during pre-location, on location and throughout post-location filming.
