    Colin Laidlaw is a highly resourceful individual whom holds great passion as a digital cinematographer and editor. He has experience with many cameras, lighting setups and genres and has a stout and inspirational vision that brings emotion to the screen. Further to this he runs a FCP and colour grading studio. As a producer/director he is a versatile and highly organised leader, and shows great responsibility and strong communication in all that he does, he is a Prince2 qualified practitioner so is well versed with dealing with large project disciplines.

    Skills include:

    Camera: Operating the Canon 5Dmkii, Sony EX3 with Letus adaptor and Sony Z1. Lighting for drama and corporate productions . DOP as well as camera operator on music videos, short form documentary and drama productions.

    Editor: Own a suite South London and specialise in Final Cut pro and Color film grading; motion and DVD studio pro.

    Scriptwriter: Written and produced several short films, taught scriptwriting at Birbeck College and is currently writing his fourth feature length screenplay to be produced in India.

    Producer/Director: As a self shooting producer/director he has great confidence and sensitivity to the material. He constanly looks at what the final output of the project is and will adapt and change very quickly to the circumstances as required. This makes him highly flexible and able to gain access to any subject.
