About Katy

  • Share profile:
Highly experienced PD, both self-shooting (HD Canon XF305, Z1 & DSR) and directing crews. I am particularly experienced in making observational documentaries on sensitive subjects such as relationships, disability and obesity. I am great with contributors: from negotiating access and gaining their trust, to helping them to relax and open up on camera.

I have my own camera kit: a Sony HVR-Z5e (which can record HDV or DV Cam to tape or solid state) and 2 x Sennheiser EW100 G2 radiomics.
